About Us
RED Civils (Trading Name of Residential Engineering Design Ltd) is a Civil Engineering Consultancy formed by a small close knit team of Civil Design Engineers who specialise in Residential Engineering Infrastructure Design. We strive to build sustainable long term relationships with a core suite of clients throughout the Midlands and the UK and pride ourselves on producing high quality and cost-efficient design packages comfortably within client timescales. To ensure that our clients receive the best possible service we have set out the following business guidelines & core principles.
- We ensure to be invariably transparent about our existing and forthcoming workload to ensure we provide the service that you require. It is of paramount importance that we give our engineers suitable time to complete the design packages, in order for us to consistently offer a premium level of service to our clients.
- We aim to cost-effectively engineer our projects through utilising innovative engineering solutions manifesting in a reduction of the ultimate build cost and substantial client savings.
- RED Civils' engineering design packages are thoroughly vetted and checked at various stages of completion by multiple members of our senior design team. We will never claim our drawings are faultless; however, we aim to minimise human error or clarity issues through our vetting and checking processes.
- If a client's project is required to be completed within a finite timescale when our resources are stretched, we will always let you know, and if required, give you the opportunity to seek an alternative consultant for that particular project. In our experience, overloading your resources with excessive quantities of work can only result in being detrimental to both the standard of work and the relationship with the client. However, due to our rigorous workload and programming structure, we envisage this being an unlikely scenario.
- We work to provide a pro-active approach throughout the 'after care' stage adjusting our designs to client specifications and addressing comments from Local Highway & Water Authorities as quickly as possible to ensure a swift technical approval is achieved. If there are any issues or queries our clients have after the issue of our design packages, we are always more than happy to assist.
